  8. Several days ago, an incompatibility between the ODF Exception subsystem
  9. and certain threaded parts was discovered. The incompatibility manifests
  10. only when an ODF part that users emulated exceptions is called by another
  11. part from within a thread spawned by the other part. One specific case that
  12. exhibits the problem occurs when embedding a CyberDog JPEG part into any
  13. ODF embedding part.

  15. Today, July 9, we released an update to ODF Release 1 that eliminates the
  16. incompatibility described above. The patch can be downloaded from our
  17. website, at the following URL:

  21. This patch specifically fixes problem with emulated exceptions. ODF clients
  22. that use native exceptions will not experience compatibility problems, and
  23. do not need to download this patch.
